Ke Star hitmaker sheds light on his collabo with Davido

South African Hip-Hop artiste, Focalistic has detailed on the message of his ‘Ke Star hit song with Davido and how he managed to feature the Nigerian star on the track.

Speaking on the message of the song, he told YFM’s Kojo Manuel on the Dryve of Your Lyfe’ show: “In actual fact, ‘Ke Star’ is a song with a positive message. In the music, I am saying I am a star, and I am glad that I am able to transfer this energy of stardom to every person across the world because that is what we are spreading; positivity. Everyone out there is a star. Even if you are a mechanic, you are a star with what you do. You hosting this radio show proves you are a star too for promoting our music”.

Focalistic revealed that prior to collaborating with Davido on the ‘Ke Star’ song, he had met with the musician two years earlier where the latter fell in love with his music. He believed that their encounter two years ago birthed the ‘Ke Star’ remix making waves across the world.

Earlier this year, Focalistic officially released the highly anticipated ‘Ke Star’ remix featuring Davido and Vigro Deep. This came after Focalistic and Davido teased music fans on Twitter with a short sound clip of the “Ke Star” remix.

The original ‘Ke Star’ song featured only South African act Vigro Deep.

Other songs of the South African artiste, Focalistic include ‘Mercedes’, ‘Sandton’, ‘Overload’, ‘Full Sette’, among others.
