Businessman, Aliko Dangote, has described the late former UN Secretary-General, Kofi Annan as someone who was an invaluable proponent of world peace.
In a tweet, Mr Dangote said: “My heartfelt condolences to the family of Kofi Annan. An invaluable proponent of world peace, justice, and equality. Humanity has lost a great champion of peace.”
The Ghanaian diplomat died in Berne, Switzerland on Saturday 18 August 2018, at the age of 80.
