Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, George Amoako has sent a strong warning to the entire Hearts of Oak family ahead of their matchday 6 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians and the Porcupine Warriors will be battling for the three points and the bragging rights on Sunday when the two sides face-off in the one of the most anticipated games on the Ghanaian football calendar.
Both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko go into the game high on confidence after the two sides ended matchday five with a 2-0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs and 2-1 win over Liberty Professionals respectively.
Hearts of Oak have only won just a game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium in all competitions in the last six years and that win came in 2017 but George Amoako insists that their focus is on maintaining their dominance over Hearts of Oak in Accra because Accra is their home.
Addressing the media today ahead of the Sunday clash, he said "I think we are going to experience a very hectic game on Sunday but it's only going to be a game of football and nothing else."
” We in Kotoko are ready to beat Hearts of Oak just like we have been doing for the past years. Any match between Kotoko and Hearts of Oak is not a joke because at Kotoko we do not take it as a joke and so watch out for your nice defeat Hearts of Oak," said George Amoako.
