Inter Milan full-back Kwadwo Asamoah has expressed his delight after completing his maiden session under new manager Antonio Conte.
Asamoah reported for pre-season training for the first time on Wednesday due to his participation in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
The Ghanaian international will be having his second stint as a player under Conte, following the latter’s appointment as Inter Milan boss in the summer.
The pair worked together at Juventus for two years – from 2012 to 2014 – before the Italian left to manage the national side.
Inter will train at Appiano today and on Friday before flying to London on Saturday afternoon.
The Nerazzurri are due to face Tottenham at 16:00 CET on Sunday afternoon, in their penultimate preseason friendly before the new Serie A campaign starts.
