Ghanaian international defender Nuru Sulley inspired his side Alanyaspor to a 1-0 victory over Balekirspor in the second leg of the semifinal play-off in the Turkish Lig 1 on Monday evening.
A 70th minute thunderous strike from Dennis Horand earned the home side the vital win over Balekirspor to book a ticket for the final play-off on Friday.
The first leg of the game ended goalless away at Balekirspor but Nuru Sulley’s side doubled their performance to record the lone goal victory to secure the qualification.
In the other play-off clash, Adamna Damirspor won 2-1 at home over Elazigspor to book a date with Alanyaspor in the final play-off.
Nuru Sulley’s stupendous performance for Alanyaspor ensured the attack of Balekirspor was neutralized as he displayed great sense of agility and strength in defence.
The final play-off will be played on Friday to determine which of the two will join the Turkish Super Lig for the 2016/17 season.
