Only money can motivate Black Stars to win the AFCON - Kojo Yankah

Defunct Executive Committee member of Ghana Football Association(GFA) Kojo Yankah believes only money will guarantee the Black Stars 2019 Africa Cup of Nations trophy.

Advising head coach Kwesi Appiah to demand his player's bonuses from the government to ensure the Black Stars win the upcoming AFCON.

The outspoken Football Administrator, to him believes only money that will propel the senior national male team, the Black Stars to victory in Egypt.

"Coach Akwasi Appiah should make sure Ghana government accept to pay 10,000 dollars to the players as winning bonus if only he wants to win the AFCON because it is only money which will motivate the players," Yankah told Takoradi-based Kingdom FM.

Ghana have secured ticket to the 32nd edition of the AFCON which kicks off in June 21.

The Black stars will be looking at ending their AFCON title drought since they last won it in 1982.

The stars in 2010 and 2015 came close to winning the trophy but failed.Hoping to hold of it this time round.

Meanwhile, Ghana have been paired in Group F with defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea- Bissau.
