Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah believes Asante Kotoko will find it tough to overcome Kariobangi Sharks in the second of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.
The Porcupine Warriors would need to avoid a stalemate and impose any form of victory to progress to the next stage of the competition.
“I believe that even though Kotoko drew, it is not going to be easy. The most important thing is not looking at the goalless draw they got,'' the Black Stars coach said.
“They need to take the game like they are down by two goals or three goals and right from the blow of the whistle, the intention out there should be to try and get some goals in.”
Kariobangi Sharks are making their continental debut and eliminated Djiboutian side Arta Sola 9-1 on aggregate.
Appiah added: “In modern football, you can't underrate any team and a team that has played a goalless draw with you, that means they are equally good.
“So the most important thing is that the supporters should come there in their numbers to be behind the team.
“I believe the Kotoko spirit will enter all the players to give out their best and I believe they come out with a win.”
