Black Stars defender Samuel Sarfo says the warm reception and friendly nature of senior figures in the Black stars team has a positive impact on new players.
Sarfo who doubles as a Police officer in the Ghana Police service told Primenewsghana how the atmosphere in camp affected him and other debutants positively.
"Their(senior player) sense of humor is exquisite, they were even happy to see me join them in the team because they follow the Ghana premier league and they know every player who's performing."
"Their advice to me and the other newcomers made a great impact in our stay during camping". He disclosed
The 26-year old who made his debut for the Black Stars in the recently played friendly against USA replacing Jerry Akaminko, also revealed how he felt when he was called up into the team by Coach Kwasi Appiah.
"It was overwhelming when I was called into the senior National team especially when my hard work has been recognisd by such quality technical handlers."
A year ago, Sarfo was assigned to guard the senior National team and 12 months on, he is part of the squad and currently realizing his dream of representing Ghana.
Sarfo is also the Captain of Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals and has been instrumental for them in the ongoing season and has capped his fine performances with six goals.
