Second edition of UPSA's 'V-C’s Special Health Endurance Walk' set for tomorrow

The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) will on Saturday, 16 March 2019 embark on the second edition of its “V-C’s Special Health Endurance Walk.”

The event, which was first held in 2018, promises to bring together the staff of the university as well as students and alumni alike to build their fitness and endurance levels, and also foster unity among the UPSA community and beyond.

About 500 people are expected to partake in the health walk, which will be led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey, who was, himself, a cross-country runner in his youth and still an active sportsman.

The walk will begin from Ayi Mensah up the hills to Peduase.

Interested participants are expected to report to the UPSA campus at 5:30 a.m.
