Mr. Edmund Ackah, Asante Kotoko management member has stated categorically that their match against the Black Stars of Ghana will not be used to assess coach Charles Akunnor.
The experienced football administrator believes all the stakeholders of the club have a role to play to make Kotoko much stronger again.
He said, "We are not using the Black Stars friendly to assess Akonnor. Kotoko's betterment behooves on all of us not particularly the coach."
"It is the responsibility of all stakeholders to make Kotoko stronger. The coach alone cannot do it," he claimed.
The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with the senior national team in a friendly match in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium following the cancellation of their 2019 AFCON qualifier with Sierra Leone by FIFA due to governmenet interference.
