Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Charles Akunnor, has touted his side’s last two games in the CAF Confederation’s cup as “must-win” clashes.
According to the former Black Stars captain, the team have got no other option than to play it safe by winning the remaining fixtures,one at home and the next in Zambia , to secure qualification into the next round.
“It is about winning the remaining games and we can qualify. We wouldn’t want it to get to calculations“he told TV3 sports.
Kotoko are currently second on the log with 6 points ,level with third placed Nkana who have the same points.Zesco United have 4 points and are bottom of the group. Kotoko will host table toppers Al Hilal on March 10 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
