Head coach of the Black Satellites, Jimmy Cobblah has assured of positive results against Senegal in their U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament today.
According to the coach, his boys were poised to add their opponents to their victims to guarantee their qualification for the FIFA world cup in Poland.
Last Monday, Ghana secured a 2-0 victory over neighbours Burkina Faso, while Senegal defeated Mali 2-0 to tie on points, but to coach Cobblah, his charges would go all out against the Young Teranga Lions to secure the maximum points in their Group B game at the Maradi Stadium.
With both teams tied on three points, a win for either Ghana or Senegal would push the winner to the semifinals, and a slot at the Poland World Cup in May
"As a coach, you have to come out with your best, and our target in the competition is to make it to the World Cup. I want to participate in this tournament , hence my appeal to Ghanaians to rally solidly behind us," He stated on Accra based Happy FM.
After today’s encounter, the Black Satellites will wrap up their group stage campaign against the Eagles of Mali on Saturday.
