CD Numancia attacker Yaw Yeboah has expressed his delight with Ghana's qualification to the next round of the Africa U-23 Championship qualifier at the expense of Togo.

The Black Meteors progressed to the next stage after a 5-2 aggregate win over the Hawks, and will next face Gabon in the penultimate round of qualifiers.

Yeboah, who captained coach Ibrahim Tanko's side in Lome, believes they deserve their feat though their opponent's troubled them at a point in the game.

"I think Togo Under 23 national are technically good, both teams were very good but for Black Meteors we did our job at home for the first leg winning 5 goals to one. At the end of the day what Ghana needs is qualification so we did," Yeboah tated on ASHH FM.

The 21-year-old has been in swashbuckling form for CD Numancia in the Spanish second-tier division.

He has bagged three Man-of-the-Match accolades in the campaign so far and statistics indicate that he is one of three players to have completed most dribbles in the Liga 2.
