Award-winning singer, Shatta Wale, known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, has indicated that he is on a divine assignment to save people and send them to heaven.

Speaking in a wide-ranging interview on Accra-based Joy FM on Friday, October 26, the dancehall act said he was sent by God to save people with his talent and bring them back to heaven.

Shatta Wale who noted that he was very religious said he was on a mission to save lost souls because he knew what was happening in the lives of many people.

He referred to his talent as an ark and said he was willing to take people into it regardless of the storms that were going on in their lives.

Shatta Wale said that he loved God and wanted to ensure that his children knew the importance of serving God and how that decision could lead to success.

The 'Don't Baby My Baby' singer went on to advise his fellow artistes to seek God first and they were sure to be at the receiving end of blessings in the form of wealth.

When asked about his views on Jesus Christ, Shatta Wale said Jesus could be anyone at all because if someone handed you a helping hand, it was tantamount to saving you just like Jesus Christ did.

In the same interview, the singer took a dig at fellow musicians Stonebwoy and Samini over the story that circulated that they were stopped from performing at the 'Reign' album.

Shatta Wale went on to comment on Sarkodie and claimed that the latter was a small boy who was in JHS when he (Shatta Wale) was doing music.

In responding to claims that his proposal to Michy was fake, Shatta Wale indicated that he had planned the whole thing with his team and that it was very real.

He said that he was going to get married to her longtime girlfriend in 2019 in a plush ceremony that was going to make her very happy because she stood by him through all these years.

Shatta Wale also touched on the fact that times were hard in Ghana and called on the leaders of the country to pay attention to what was happening on the streets and work to make life comfortable for all Ghanaians.

The Zylofon Media act has made it to the Billboard Charts after the launch of his 'Reign' album which saw him fill the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

His album is currently ranked 6th on the World Album category of the American entertainment media brand.
