Communications team member with National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Mawuli Nanegbe says it will be a joke for the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), to express their optimism of winning the elections.

Koku Nanegbe said, ''I have no doubt that President Mahama will win the elections. His achievements alone speaks volumes. It will be a joke for the NPP to claim victory when it is clear that they will lose the elections.''

According to him, they have done a lot of work across the length and breadth of this country. Koku Mawuli Nanegbe said it is extremely problematic for a dis-organised party like the NPP, to be sure of victory in the upcoming polls.

The communicator took a swipe at the presidential candidate of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for running a lazy campaign and yet want to win an election.

Koku Mawuli Nanegbe described former President Kufour as a prophet who warned party delegates in 2008, to elect a presidential candidate who will be able to unite and ensure victory for the NPP after his tenure.

He explained that the warning the former president gave is manifesting as the NPP under its presidential candidate is divided.

''The NPP under Nana Addo is in tatters. He has collapsed the party.Nothing is working for the party. The national headquarters of the NPP is now a war zone...Nana Addo should concentrate on uniting his own party. Nana Addo is demonstrating that he is not a unifier. He is the most divisive flagbearer i have seen in my entire life. He is selective.''

Koku Nanegbe who was speaking to Kwame Tutu on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM said, the posture of the presidential candidate will keep the NPP in opposition for another four years.

The political environment he stressed is favourable for the NDC and come December 7, Ghanaians will keep Mahama in power.

Meanwhile, a communicator with the NPP, Asamoah Gyemfi in a rebuttal chided Koku Nanegbe for his statement. He expressed strong optimism that, change is coming and come December 7, the NPP will win the elections hands down.

Asamoah Gyemfi noted that the NDC lack a message due to their abysmal performance hence their attacks on Nana Addo at any given time.
