The Chief of Sefwi Asawinso in the Western Region, Nana Adu Kwesi II, popularly known as Nana Koo Taa, has urged the Western regional minister Paul Evans Aidoo to resort to any means possible, to win the December 7 polls.
According to him, it is only when the NDC retains power that his community’s dream of having a district assembly can materialise.
Addressing a gathering during a visit to his palace by Mr. Evans Aidoo and the Local Government minister Collins Dauda, the chief declared his support for President John Mahama and the NDC in the upcoming polls.
“I thank the President for the great Job he is doing for this community and I pray to God to make him win the elections again. He has been committed to his promise and we are grateful to him.
“ It is in the interest of this town that the President wins this polls again because he has delivered. I cannot speak for all my chiefs and the people here but it will be strange for anyone one here to wish victory for any other person aside President Mahama,” he said.
He added: “ To you the minister here, I urge you to use every means possible, do all you can to ensure that you win the elections here because we are behind you”.
