Ellembele MP wishes 2018 BECE candidates success in their exams

The Member of Parliament for the Ellembele constituency Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has presented over 1800 mathematical sets to all the successfully registered BECE candidates in the Ellembele District.

Interacting with the candidates at one of the examination centres in the Ellembele District at Aiyinasi, the former Minister of Energy and Petroleum admonished the students to be focused as they leave no stone unturned.

Mr Armah-Kofi Buah said "so many people doubted that you could make it to this level, now you are here, this is the time to make your parents proud and to bring smiles on their faces.

He however cautioned the candidates against cheating, examination malpractices and avoid selective Learning. The MP used one of his favourite real-life story "The total stranger" to advised the students to stay focused in the challenge ahead. I have full confidence in you that you will come out successfully with flying colours in your final BECE results", he said.

Counting on some of the successes chalked in education especially in further studies he said, "I have been able to assist about 55 Nzema students with scholarships who have pursued masters degree abroad in various oil and gas disciplines and some of them are strategically positioned in key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

He reiterated the fact that his office is opened anytime and stands ready to support students in his District in their academic endeavours to the highest level.

The Ellembele educational directorates, the teachers and the students who were encouraged and very excited about the mathematical sets, the encouraging admonishing and the educational supports they have received and continue to receive their MP thank him and urged him not to relent in his resolve to improve education in the District.

The teachers used the occasion to express their appreciation for the MP's annual mock examination which has helped to improve the performance of candidates in the District and urged the MP to continue with the good work he is doing for the people in the Ellembele constituency.
