Local manufacturers should participate in Ghana international trade fair – Gifty Ohene Konadu
National Coordinator for the One-District, One-Factory Project, Gifty Ohene Konadu has called for the massive patronage of the 22nd edition of the Ghana International trade fair which will be held in Accra.
At the launch on Wednesday, 29th November, she specified that the fair would be centered on government’s One-District, One-Factory policy which strives to economically enhance a viable enterprise in every Ghanaian district.
She emphasized that the industrialization agenda is meant to create jobs for individuals involved in the value chain process of all manufactured products.
Mrs Konadu said the One-district, One-factory secretariat has partnered with the Ministry of Trade to involve financial institutions such as GCB and Axim bank, as well as several other agencies to make the 22nd Ghana International Trade Fair successful.
She went on further to note that the Trade Fair exhibition will promote made in Ghana goods and services thereby urging all Ghanaian manufacturers to participate.
The 22nd Ghana International Trade Fair scheduled for 28th of February to the 7th of March 2018 has been formed under the theme “Industrialising Ghana, Creating Jobs”.
The fair seeks to offer the opportunity for exhibitors to introduce brands and products to emerging and existing companies currently enrolled in the 216-district industrialisation programme and many others.
