The Chief of staff, Mr. Julius Debrah has taken the 'John Mahama 2016' campaign to the Volta region, the stronghold of the governing National Democratic Congress.
The 4-day campaign tour which begins today, Wednesday November 2, will see Mr. Debrah intensify NDC's campaign for the re-election of President John Mahama in selected constituencies of the region, as the December polls approaches.
The Chief of Staff is expected to interact with chiefs and address mini rallies in selected communities in the South Dayi, Afadjato South, North Dayi, Nkwanta North, Akan, Hohoe and Kpando constituencies within the 4-day tour.
Mr. Debrah, is also scheduled to meet with the tertiary student’s wing of the NDC at the Ho Technical University to energize them in order to solicit more votes for President Mahama and the NDC parliamentary candidates in the region.
Prior to the chief of staff's visit, President Mahama also led a 5-day campaign tour of some 18 constituencies in the region and just last week, the biggest opposition leader, Nana Akufo-Addo also spent 5-days garnering support for his campaign for change.
