‘Galamsey’ Queen Aisha Huang was released because she has ‘Wontumi’s’ sextape - Abass Nurudeen alleges
The Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abass Nurudeen has alleged that, apart from the economic benefits that Ghana stands to gain according to the Senior Minister, the other reason why Aisha Huang (Chinese National who was indulging in illegal mining in Ghana) was released was because she threatened to release a sextape she had with Mr. Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as Chairman ‘Wontumi’, Ashanti regional chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party.
He further alleged that, it is ‘Wontumi’ who brought Aisha Huang to Ghana in 2005 when he went for a training on small-scale mining in China under the President’s special initiative (PSI).
According to Mr. Abass Nurudeen, it was Wontumi who facilitated Aisha Huang’s acquisition of concessions in the Tontokrom and Bepotenten in the Amansie enclave of the Ashanti Region.
"So if there is anybody to blame for the huge destruction of Ghanaian lands as a result of the Activities of this Galamsey queen, we should look no further than Wontumi, he emphasized.
