After the launch of the 2016 campaign of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Cape Coast on August 14, supporters of the party and Ghanaians in general have demonstrated their commitment to support the NDC’s campaign to continue changing lives and transforming Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama has said.
Mr Mahama ended his campaign tour of the Western Region on Friday, 19 August where he assured the people of the region of his commitment to develop that part of Ghana. He is currently in the Northern Region to continue his campaign activities.
Mr Mahama wrote on his Facebook page that: “From Cape Coast where I launched my re-election campaign through to the Western Region, the people of Ghana and supporters of the NDC have not only showed their support for the work we are doing, but demonstrated their commitment to the campaign to continue to change lives and transform Ghana.”
“I am looking forward to the Northern regional campaign, which starts on Monday. Some of the areas I will be visiting include Salaga, Kpandai, Bimbilla, Wulensi, Yendi, Gushiegu, Zabzugu, Tatale, Mion, Nanton and Chereponi,” he wrote.
