I am richer than John Mahama and Ibrahim Mahama combined - Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, commonly known as Chairman Wontumi, has declared that he is wealthier than former President John Dramani Mahama and his brother Ibrahim Mahama.

He mentioned that he owns various companies that offer employment opportunities and generate income, in addition to other sources of revenue.

Chairman Wontumi confidently stated that his net worth exceeds that of Mahama and his brother Ibrahim.

"I have more money than Mahama. His brother Ibrahim cannot claim to be wealthier than me. I started my journey a long time ago, and Ibrahim knows that I am a captain. I have held this position for over 20 years. My company and employees are evidence of my success, unlike him," Chairman Wontumi said in Twi during an interview with Kumasi-based radio station Pure FM, as monitored by GhanaWeb.

The NPP stalwart owns multiple businesses in the country, providing jobs and income for numerous individuals.

He also owns media outlets, including Wontumi TV in Kumasi, Movement TV in Accra, and Western Diamond in Takoradi.
