The Information Ministry is scheduled to provide the nation with an update on the latest case count and mitigating measures in governments fight against the coronavirus pandemic, today May 21, 2020.
Meanwhile, the issue of recoveries in Ghana's Coronavirus situation has recorded a rather elating effect pertaining to the figures the Ghana Health Service has recently released.
Currently, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 stand at 6,269, according to the latest update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The update also indicated 125 more recoveries, raising the number of recoveries to 1,898.
On today’s issue, government will provide clarity on the latest case count and management, dynamics relating to the virus in Ghana, and confronting stigmatization of infected persons.
Also, there will be an update on the COVID-19 Alleviation programme and Business support scheme which was recently launched by the President to support Medium Small Scale Enterprises (SMEs) who may have been impacted negatively due to the coronavirus pandemic.
