All Pupils Must Wear Prescribed Uniforms - GES

Accra,(Greater Accra) 23 Oct. The Ghana Education Service (GES) has condemned basic schools whose pupils do not wear the prescribed school uniform and asked them to comply. A statement signed by Mr S.K. Obeng, Director-General of GES, said the prescribed uniform was introduced for ''very good reasons, which remain valid''. It said the wearing of the prescribed uniform is compulsory for all public as well as private basic school pupils. "Institutions which have flouted this directive are strongly advised to comply with it," the statement warned.
