Thanks to every one including the pressure groups for putting President Mahama on his toes. Well, who says pressure does not pay, and who says President Mhahama does not listen? This is a win win situation for all Ghanaians.

This type of power generation is probably one of the most expensive ways to satisfy demand. It is also a clear indication how helplessly the authorities are tackling the problem.

Somebody please explain the logic why these power plants cannot be located on shore. Is there no land left in this country?

The cost per unit of production by the badges coming in is low only second to ouf hydro production cost. Its far cheaper than most of our currently running plants. We should get more badges to lower our average production cos ... read full comment

The minister just admitted in parliament that existing plants are idle due to lack of maintenance and fuel so why are we spending time and money to bring in more plants when the sensible thing to do is to first fix and fuel t ... read full comment
The minister just admitted in parliament that existing plants are idle due to lack of maintenance and fuel so why are we spending time and money to bring in more plants when the sensible thing to do is to first fix and fuel the ones already here. A donkey may be a hard working animal but leadership certainly is not suited to it. It must rather be led. If you allow it to lead, it would put you at the place we currently find ourselves. Are we going to bring these barges and leave them idle because we can't fuel them
