The Presidential nominee of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has assured that the party will not be the source of any upheavals in the country.

Speaking during the party’s manifesto launch at the forecourt of Accra International Trade fair Center, he said the party will only agitate for a peaceful, free and fair election.

‘We NPP are looking for peace and stability of the country. I can assure the people of Ghana that the NPP will not be the source of any upheavals or disturbances in the country, what we will continue to agitate for is fair, clean transparent and peaceful elections, we will say bye bye to John Mahama come January 7, 2017,’ he promised.

According to him, they have policy ideas that would restore the broken economy when voted into power in the December polls.

He indicated that he cannot deceive Ghanaians by throwing dust in their eyes by making promises which he cannot deliver.

Nana Addo promised not to rub shoulders with Ghanaians after voting for him by going on hate speech spree or use unprintable words on them.

‘All collapsed programmes initiated by former President Kufour would be restored, free Senior High School (SHS) education policy will also be restored if God willing am voted into power, programmes that will create jobs for our people such as one-district –one –factory will be implemented, we will pump monies into the various constituencies through the central budget and ensure that people are better off, I am not bragging about the promises, I will deliver on my promises, I almost won in 2008 and 2012, so once again I am pleading with you all and Ghanaians to support me by voting massively for me during December polls to lead the nation, … We will not embark on insulting spree, no, we will not do that after given power, but we are poised to work for Ghanaians with all my strength,’ he promised.
