Public universities need retooling and not naming them after politicians. Most of our science and engineering departments are stocked with obsolete equipments and gadgets and they retooling to improve quality of teaching and learning and not this populist approach of naming universities after politicians. Can anyone name one institution of excellence managed by politicians in Ghana?
