The event will take place on January 18, 2020
The Ghana Hotels Association (GHA) in collaboration with her partners and stakeholders instituted the GHA Awards to reward members and personalities who distinguish themselves in the performance of their hotel businesses.
The 4th GHA Awards is set to come off at the plush Accra Marriott Hotel on Saturday 18th January 2020.
Members of the Association will be competing for twenty-three (23) award categories on the night including Front of House Team of the Year, Housekeeping Team of the Year, Conference and Banqueting Team of the Year and Most Secured Hotel of the Year. Food and Beverage Team of the Year, Green Hotel of the Year and Most Authentic Ghanaian Hotel of the Year shall also be up for grabs.
The 4th edition of GHA awards is under the theme: Reducing Hotel Rates in Ghana; the role of government and hotel operators. Hotel operators, through the Association, have come to the realization that something needs to done about the high operational costs that have resulted in a high rate of hotel services.
Preparation for the 4th GHA Hotel Awards will start with a Media Launch scheduled for 7th November 2019 at Tang Palace Hotel at 4 pm prompt. GHA Platform will come your way with a panel discussion of the theme of the 4th GHA Awards. The discussion will focus on how Government and Hotel Operators can work together to reduce hotel rates in Ghana.
The 4th GHA Awards night and dinner dance will host 350 hotel operators, government officials, vendors, and the general public.
