Security analyst, Adam Bonaa, has stated that counsel Martin Kpebu is talking too much relating to the trial of his client, ACP Dr. Benjamin Agordzo.

Mr. Martin Kpebu has accused the government of witch-hunting his client.

According to him, the nature of the interrogation at the premises of the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), gives the government out as being on an agenda to victimize his client.

ACP Dr. Benjamin Agordzo has denied his activity being related to the alleged coup plot leveled against him.

But speaking on Accra based radio Neat FM monitored by Ghanacrusader.com, Mr. Adam Bonah said, the manner lawyer Martin Kpebu is handling the issue, will make it difficult for his client to be given a fair hearing.

“Martin Kpebu is talking too much. Respectfully am not a lawyer but he is talking too much. As a lawyer, your duty is to seek for justice for your client in a constitutional way but not public opinion,” he said.

According to him, Martin Kpebu took the BNI to the cleaners following his comment against them.

“I’m a bit surprised as a lawyer he speaks that way. Indeed, if it is the BNI who is holding him and you go on air to bastardize them, would you later go back to them,” he quizzed.

He advised the lawyer to leave those commentaries to analysts since they are not directly involved.

“What I will say is that he can leave those things to us who will be doing some of these analyses to sometimes come to some categorical conclusions because we might not be directly involved.”

“But he is directly involved and he probably is the beneficiary, if he is able to take him out of his predicament, chances are that his ranges as a lawyer are going to go up in no time,” he said.
