Former President John Dramani Mahama has dared the current government to prosecute him and his wife the former First Lady , Lordina Mahama if it is indeed true they had a hand in establishment of the Ponzi Micro Finance Company, DKM that duped hundreds of residents of the Brong Ahafo Region.
He indicated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in opposition peddled all manner of falsehood about the ownership of the company to the extent they claimed he and his wife were majority shareholders for political gain.
“Thankfully, they are now in power and I will want them to prosecute me and the first lady if it is true the DKM company belonged to us”, he told patrons of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Unity Walk in Techiman.
DKM was among several companies in the Brong Ahafo Region that reportedly squandered investments of residents running into several millions of Ghana cedis with the then opposition NPP claiming the company was partly owned by the former first couple.
