Rapist of 4 British teenage school girls, teacher arrested

Notorious armed robber, Israel Kyene Nana Damascus who raped four British school girls and their teacher at gunpoint has been arrested by the police, MyNewsGh.com can authoritatively report.

The suspect who is a Nigerian according to police sources, was arrested from his hide out at Kasoa in the Central Region on Saturday March 9, 2019 after several months of playing hide and seek with police investigators.

It would be recalled that Israel Kyene Nana Damascus late last year as reported by the Sun Newspaper, raped the four British school children aged between 16 and 17, together with their teacher at gunpoint on while they were on a school trip to Ghana.

According to the publication, the victims were attacked in their hostel-style accommodation by the suspect with a rifle on Saturday night, December 8, 2018 at Kokrobite in Accra.

A security man at the hostel who tried to stop the attack was shot and seriously injured by the perpetrator.

The girls and their teacher, whose names have been withheld are said to be recovering from their traumatic ordeal in a British hospital after they immediately flew back after the unfortunate incident.

The pupils in the company of their teacher, flew to Ghana on a trip that was meant to give them the opportunity to experience life in a developing country. They were part of a larger group of ten schoolchildren who paid £1,200 each for the trip.

According to MyNewsGh.com sources, they stayed in guesthouses within a secure walled compound and gardens a few minutes’ walk from a local beach where the dormitory-style rooms house up to six guests at a time.

The Ghana Police Service thereafter declared the suspect who is also a notorious armed robber wanted with a handsome reward for anyone with information leading to his arrest.

A bench warrant was issued for his arrest by an Accra Circuit court on 21st December 2018.
