The suspect, Rita, a 25-year-old mango seller who has been announcing the disappearance of his child on a local radio station took the community by surprise when she confessed to committing the crime after family members insisted she knew the whereabout of the missing child.
As if she was under a spell, the suspect, led her family to the crime scene where the lifeless of Joseph was found floating face down.
It unclear what may have compelled the suspect to kill her own son but some residents who want to be anonymous attribute it to economic hardship after father of the child abandoned them.
