Opare-Addo declares intention to contest for NDC Youth Organiser position

The Former Akuapem North Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Mr George Opare-Addo has declared his intention to contest for the National Youth Organiser position of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

At a brief ceremony to officially declare his intention and launch his campaign, the young politician promised to mobilise the youth across the country to vote for the party to win the 2020 elections.

Mr Opare-Addo also promised to commit and dedicate himself to the party and called on the electoral college of the party to elect competent and efficient leaders to steer the affairs of the party to the 2020 elections.

The two time Parliamentary Candidate for Okere Constituency on the ticket of NDC said his objective was to organise a formidable NDC youth who are charged and hungry to take over power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He said his slogan for the campaign is “We are taking over in 2020”.

Mr Opare-Addo urged the youth organizers of the party across the country to step up and expose the NPP government, who were using all means possible to retain power.

He promised to work closely with all constituency youth organisers to address challenges facing them in their constituencies.
