Nana Akufo-Addo was mobbed Thursday night at Hohoe, in what could be described as the largest crowd of his 5-day tour in the Volta region.
Hohoe is also the constituency of the current Volta regional chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), John Peter Amewu.
Residents including students of two colleges of education in the area throng the streets to give a rousing welcome to the NPP flagbearer and his campaign team, who have been in the region, the stronghold of NDC, since Monday to propagate the NPP's change agenda.
Akufo-Addo, who was overwhelmed by the reception given him in the region, earlier told a mammoth gathering in the Nkwanta South constituency, that the massive turnouts is an indication that, the region is in support of his agenda for change.
This development, he noted is a good omen, which has sent shivers down the spine of the NDC, as their world bank is tumbling.
