He said the Assembly was undertaking a lot of projects and had already completed a number of three and six room school blocks at Agorweme, Tsidzenu, Kome, Milenu, Bukarikope and Azagonorkope.

Mr. Arku said his administration is finishing all uncompleted projects it inherited, and was varying the designs of schools that were without toilets to improve on sanitation in schools.

Two nurses quarters was also completed at Aveyime and Battor.

Mr. Arku said the six-unit Podue E.P Basic school block, which has its roof ripped off, had been re-roofed, and a similar block, with a toilet facility was constructed and furnished for Zomayi Basic School, which had operated under a shed since 1953.

He said they gave 20 dining tables and chairs to the Mepe St. Kizito Senior School and supplied Motorbikes, tables and chairs for all the four Area Councils in the area.

He said 50 communities, including Keseve, Kodokope, Salaga, Gbagbawui, Esokope, Tornu, Asime, Kesegakope, Milenu, Ayiwata, Akuta, Aglubakpo and Wuxor, are being connected to the national power grid and are currently having their houses fixed with meters for free.

Mr. Arku announced that the second tranche of the People With Disabilities (PWDs) Common Fund will soon be in to cater for the next batch of beneficiaries, and asked members not to sell the items given.

He said seven market stalls, a multi-purpose warehouse and a 30-seater water closet facility would be constructed at Juapong, while the Battor Market would also see a facelift.

Mr. Arku appealed to the people to pay their taxes, bills and property rates to help in the development of the area.
