The death of Ghanaian military officer, Maxwell Adams Mahama has been the talk of town for the past week with several Ghanaians expressing their angst against the residents of Denkyira-Obuasi where the crime took place.
YEN has come across a video of controversial Ghanaian fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam crying over the military officer’s death.
Captain Mahama, who was given a posthumous promotion to “major” by President Nana Addo, was lynched by residents of Denkyira-Obuasi who mistook him for an armed robber.
In the video decrying the lynching, Kwaku Bonsam noted that even if the deceased was indeed a thief, the residents shouldn’t have beaten him to death.
He stated how disappointed he was in the behaviour portrayed by the people of Denkyira-Obuasi.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Police have arrested close to 42 suspects in relation to the gruesome murder. The family have revealed that the burial of the late Major Mahama tomorrow, June 9th, 2017.
