NDC’s Bernard Allotey Jacobs has urged government to unravel the truth behind the murder of investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
According to the former Central Regional Chairman of the ‘Umbrella’ family, the counter accusation as to who killed Ahmed is rather ‘unfortunate’.
The investigative journalist with Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye PI was assassinated on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Madina in the Greater Accra region.
He was shot three times – twice in the chest and once in the neck.
Speaking on the issue, Allotey Jacobs urged not only the NPP but all politicians to help in investigating the death of the young journalist.
“This country should move forward; those who are in charge of investigating should be given that space. Enough of the blame games and the gossips, there is more for us to do as politicians. Let’s help the police to get the needed resources to fight criminal activities,” he said in an interview with Adom FM.
