One of the lawyers for Tiger Eye PI, Mr. Sammy Darko, has revealed that Ahmed Hussein-Suale, who was killed by unidentified men on Wednesday night, was the brain behind the Number 12 exposé which captured the former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi taking a bribe.
Hussein-Suale was shot in the chest and neck at Madina in Accra while driving home.
According to his colleagues, nothing was stolen from him. The body has been taken to the Police Hospital morgue.
Speaking on Accra100.5FM’s Ghana Yensom hosted by Kwabena Prah Jnr (The Don) on Thursday, 17 January 2019, Mr. Darko said: “Yes, it is true that Ahmed was a member of the Tiger Eye PI team. Ahmed was the main brain behind the Number 12 investigations. He was the one who investigated Nyantakyi himself.”
The police have commenced investigations into the murder.
The Madina Divisional Crime Officer, Chief Superintendent Alex Asamoah Frimpong, told ‘The Don’ that: “Three bullets were found in his car. The body has been deposited at the police hospital and investigations have started.”
