Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has released some names of politicians, senior police officers, business owners and medical practitioners purported to be on the radar of investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas for investigations.

According to him, some of the names have been marked yellow which signifies that the person is under investigation and the ones with green inscription show that he (Anas) has completed investigating them.

He further stated that some of the names have the prefix 'pound of flesh' and others ‘compensation’.

“'Pound of flesh' signifies that you are his high target. He has written that he gave a minister $35,000. Prof Kwabena Frimpong Boateng has the pound of flash with an asterisk against his name,” Ken Agyapong allegedly said.

Some of the names according to Mr Agyapong include, “Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie (Sir John), CEO of Forestry Commission, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, politician, Hassan Ayariga, politician, Amoah Ayisi, military officer, Emmanuel Okyere, military officer, Supt. Cephas Arthur, Ghana Police Service, COP Dr Akuffo Dampare, Ghana Police Service, Peter Ohene Kyei, pastor, Francis Oppong, COCOBOD, Dominic Ntiwul, politician, Kwakye Darfour, Politician, Charles Bissue, politician, Stephen Opuni, COCOBOD.”

“All these are targets and some of them have been paid by the journalist. I called the targeted pastor, Peter Ohene Kyei, but he did not answer,” the politician said on Net 2 TV.

“I tell you the guy is evil and I’m surprised with all the evidence, Ghanaian journalists are quiet. What moral justification do you (journalists) have to criticize politicians, Ghanaians that they have ‘sinned’ but when your own colleague is also doing the same thing, you are quiet...because you (journalists) feel it dented the image of the inky fraternity...what is National Security doing?” Ken Agyapong rhetorically asked.

He alleged further that the Minister for National Security has a close relationship with the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Kweku Baako Jnr, therefore, when his boy (Anas Aremeyaw Anas) is ‘misbehaving’ he, Anas, cannot be arrested.

“Cephas Arthur, Ghana Police Service, was given a monthly compensation of $400...Anas keeps records of any amount he pays to an individual,” the MP stressed.
