The University of Cape Coast campus was consumed by the presence of the Black Stars on Wednesday afternoon with skipper Andre Ayew receiving a rapturous welcome as he popped out of the team bus.
The charismatic Ghana skipper was mobbed by students of Atlantic Hall and Cashley Hayford Hall as the team made a short stopover on campus to fraternize with them ahead of their training.
Ayew led his teammates to take photos with the students and exchanged pleasantries.
The memories Andre Ayew and his teammates left with the students looked indelible as their faces brimmed with joy and ecstasy.
The Black Stars proceeded with their mandatory training session at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium after their interaction with the students.
Perhaps, the love for the Black Stars isn’t lost after all as the team is determined to #BringBackTheLove.
