Ghana international Bernard Tekpetey was on target for SC Paderborn as they walloped Greuther Fürth 6-0 in the German Bundesliga II on Saturday.
The 21-year-old striker bagged his eighth goal of the campaign to extend SC Paderborn's lead with a smart finish on the 19th minute after Philipp Klement had fetched the opener from the spot on the 11th minute.
A brace from Sven Michel and other goals from Babacar Gueye and Kai Proger were enough for the Blue and Black lads to run away with the maximum points.
Tekpetey lasted the entire duration of the game while his compatriot Christopher Antwi Adjei warmed the bench as well as David Atanga of SpVgg Greuther Fürth.
He has featured in 21 matches and scored eight goals with three assists for SC Paderborn 07 so far this season.
The former Schalke O4 forward has been a key contributor for his side and hopes his form will earn him a call-up to the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the upcoming final group F fixture of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
