The Public Relations Officer of the Youth and Sports Ministry, Elvis Adjei Baah, says the salaries of Black Stars technical team will be paid today as their respective cheques are ready for pick up.
Head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah and his technical staff have not been paid for the past three months raising various agitations in the media landscape.
Adjei Baah said:” I can confirm to you that the cheques of the three months arrears owed to Kwesi Appiah and his technical team are ready for pick up today. We have processed all the necessary documentation and all the outstanding debt for the coaches will be cleared, ” he told Asempa FM.
This will come as good news for Kwesi Appiah and his comrades which includes Stephen Appiah, Richard Kingson, Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu who have left a big legacy in the annals of Ghana’s football.
