Burundi international Pierre Pierrot Kwizera is on the verge of joining Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.
Kwizera arrived in the country on Friday to complete his possible switch to the Porcupine Warriors before the transfer deadline day as they set sights on augmenting their squad for the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
The 28-year-old has been on the radar of several clubs, however he has opted to join the Kumasi based side.
He has previously played for Simba FC, AFAD Djékanou, Rayon Sports and Oman club Al-Oruba Sur.
The midfielder was part of the Burundi squad that played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt as he featured in only one game during the tournament.
