Former FIFA agent and President of Nkoranza Warriors, Leslie Kuku Bartels says he was surprised to hear of Yussif Chibsah’s 20% share in Kwame Bonsu’s transfer fee to Esperance.
Chibsah who is Bonsu’s agent broke the $150k transfer between Asante Kotoko and Esperance de Tunis with an entitlement of 20 % in the deal.
But according to Leslie Bartels, the percentage Chibsah charged was more than what FIFA intermediaries are entitled to get from such deals.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Ashh FM, he said “I’m very surprised Yusif Chibsah is entitled to 20% of Kwame Bonsu’s deal. Any FIFA Intermediary is entitled to 3% in any player transfer.
“If Yussif Chibsah is entitled to 20% of the deal, then it is against the rules and Regulations of FIFA Intermediary” he added.
