Ghana premier league side Medeama SC has decided to break camp for a week following the suspension of football activities in Ghana in the wake of the Corona Virus being confirmed in the country.
So far Ghana has recorded 7 positive cases of Covid-19 and there are fears the situation could escalate just as has happened across countries like the USA, France, Italy and Spain.
On Sunday the president Nana Akuffo Addo announced as part of measures to curb an outbreak the suspension of all sporting activities for four weeks with football the most hit.
This has led to some clubs deciding to break camp and the latest to join this list is Medeama SC.
The Tarkwa based side has dissolved camp for a week and shall resume on Wednesday March 25.
Players and the technical team have been handed a one-week break.
