Ghanaian striker Emmanuel Boateng was a second half substitute for LA Galaxy in their 5-2 thrashing to Manchester United on Saturday night.
The Right to Dream graduate replaced Bradford Jamieson at half time when the MLS side were down 3-1.
Marcus Rashford doubled a brace and Marouane Falliani with the other as United went into the break on top.
Substitutes Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Anthony Martial were also on target.
Giovani dos Santos and Dave Romney scored for the Galaxy late on.
