Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has arrived in Villareal to begin work with his new club.
The 20-year-old arrived in the Spanish city on Tuesday morning.
Lomotey’s arrival to Villareal had been delayed over visa and work permit issues.
But the former Dreams FC star has now joined his new teammates after he was granted his work permit.
Lomotey signed a contract last month to join the Yellow Submarine on a season-long loan deal.
He arrives at Villareal after an impressive campaign in the Spanish lower tier with Extremadura.
He was taken on a tour of the club’s office and the training site.
“I am happy to be here,” Lomotey told FootballMadeInGhana.com upon his arrival.
Lomotey played for Ghana Premier League club Dreams FC prior to his move to Extremadura last year.
He was part of the Ghana B team that won the 2017 WAFU Nations Cup.
