All officials at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) must exit for a new set of executives to manage football in the country, former Vice Chairman of the GFA has said.

“Everybody associated with the Nyantakyi regime, for the last 13 years up to now, must step aside,” he admonished during an interview with Benjamin Akakpo on Class 91.3FM’s Executive Breakfast Show.

His comments follow the recently aired video documentary by undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, titled: ‘Number 12 When Misconduct and Greed Become the Norm’.

The documentary exposed gross graft within the GFA characterised by widespread fraud, corruption and bribery. Mr Nyantakyi is the hardest hit after being caught on camera engaging in shady deals.

Subsequently, the Executive Committee of the GFA appointed Kweku Eyiah as the head of a five-man committee to restructure the activities of the association following the damning expose by Tiger Eye PI.

However, Mr Coker insists that the “committee should step aside” adding all the members have been part of the GFA over the years and have nothing new to offer.

He is advocating a “serious reform” that will ensure selection of the GFA president with inputs from all stakeholders in the football industry and not a selected few.
