Highly-rated goalkeeper Felix Annan has been dropped to the bench by Asante Kotoko head coach Maxwell Konadu for the fifth game running in the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The last time the captain for the Porcupine Warriors was given a run in the team was on Match Week 4 when the Kumasi-based side was defeated 1-0 by Medeama Sporting Club at the Tarkwa Akoon Community Park.
Since that encounter, Felix Annan has missed all of Kotoko's match. Now set to warm the bench today as well, it will mean that the Black Stars goalkeeper would have missed a total of five matches.
Though coach Maxwell Konadu has stressed that Anna remains the club's number one choice, many believe that he has lost that position to Kwame Baah.
Below is Kotoko's starting eleven to face Dreams FC this afternoon.
Kwame Baah(GK), Ibrahim Imoro, Emmanuel Gyamfi (C), Justice Blay, Agyemang Badu, Mohammed Habib, Adom Frimpong, Christopher Nettey, Martin Antwi, William Opoku Mensah, Kingsley Effah
Subs:
Felix Annan (GK), Empem Dacosta, Patrick Yeboah, Collins Ameyaw, Maxwell Baakoh, Kelvin Andoh, Richard Arthur.
