Turkish giants Fenerbahçe are closing in on a deal for Inter Milan left-back Kwadwo Asamoah.
The 31-year-old has rejected a move to German side Hoffenheim as he prefers a switch to the Yellow and Navy Blues.
Asamoah has struggled for game time this season due to a problem with the cartilage in one of his knees and has not featured since Inter’s goalless draw with Roma at the beginning of December.
The experienced defender has been limited to just 11 appearances across all competitions to date this season and has even been dropped from Inter’s Europa League squad for the knockout stages.
The former Juventus man is under contract with Inter until the end of next season and some reports in the Italian media recently have even suggested he and Inter could come to a mutual agreement to terminate his contract.
